THE PRESERVATION

The home’s original structure, aged over 50 years, was rich with character. By carefully restoring

and repurposing old materials, we breathed new life into the space while preserving its storied charm.

The kitchen serves two generations: a classic, practical Thai kitchen for the mother and a sleek, lifestyle-focused space

for the daughter. These seemingly contrasting styles coexist seamlessly, divided yet unified.

KITCHEN WITHIN A KITCHEN

The design incorporates a glass partition window that separates the Thai kitchen from the modern one.

This allows for both distinct functionality and shared connectivity, letting aromas and meals flow effortlessly

from one to the other. Repurposing the original materials with white oak doors, the kitchen gains a fresh, inviting look.
